The California Riverside BalletEducation and Community Outreach ProgramUtilizing the immeasurable talent of its own dancers and guests artists from prominent North American ballet companies and, based on its original mission to present the finest in classical and contemporary ballet to the community, California Riverside Ballet has developed a comprehensive Educational and Community Outreach Program. This program provides the opportunity to experience the world of ballet through performance as well as a variety of activities presented as individual lectures, classes and workshops tailored to meet the specific needs of schools, senior citizen groups, facilities for the disabled, facilities for abused children, domestic violence survivors and many other groups that otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience the art of ballet. These programs and activities demonstrate to those less fortunate that there is another world out there – a world where discipline of mind and body brings beauty and art that truly enriches individual lives as well as the greater community. Bringing our programs and productions to the underserved inspires not only the dreams of children but hundreds of volunteers who make these programs possible. Through the generosity of the greater Riverside community, recently including: - City of Riverside and County of Riverside Community Development Block Grant programs
- Riverside County Supervisor Tavaglone
- Altura Credit Union
- Association of Black Correctional Workers
- E.S. Babcock & Sons
- Pauw & Pauw, Inc.
- Riverside Medical Clinic and
