Sarah Farrell (Company Dancer)
Ms. Farrell was born in Boston, Massachusetts. Soon after she and her family moved to Riverside, California. She began her classical ballet training at the age of eleven under the direction of Glenda Carhart, Kathleen Riker, and Damien Diaz. At the age of fourteen Sarah was invited to attend the summer course at the School of American Ballet, the official school of the New York City Ballet. The following two years Sarah was awarded scholarships to attend their summer programs and each year was asked to attend the year-round program. She has performed in David Allan's Nutcracker as a Waltz Flower, Waltz Solist, Snowflake, Snow Fairy, the Arabian Soloist, the Snow Queen and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Sarah has performed in R. Clinton Rothwell's Concerto in G and David Allan's Holberg Suites Pas de Deux. While at the School of American Ballet, Sarah performed Balanchine's Sugar Plum variation as part of their outreach program. Sarah currently studies ballet at Riverside Ballet Arts.
